The Stimulus Plan, will it really put future generations into a greater debt?
thats what sen. Byron Dorgan and John McCain are saying, calling it "Generational Theft" i mean they swear like they themselves are not a victim of past debts, of course the whole country is in debt and there always will be a time when they are, but dagnamit we gotta spend money to make money, i mean what are we supposed to do sit and cower as a country? reduce taxes? i don't think so, lets stop with with all the competition between dems and repubs and actually decide something!!! lets at least have a direction to go in!!! and what is Dorgans plan? lets keep track of every penny spent? that would be nice and dandy except that we are not always using actual money, think of all the debts floating out their saying "we owe them money and they owe us money, honestly these IOU's are a fabrication, is that money even out their? who knows!but for petes sake lets do something productive

exactly, if they were victims of past debts, wouldnt they want to do whats best and try to break this cycle of debt?

I agree with you when you say 'we gotta spend money to make money', but i doubt the general population will do just that, think about other people's situation, if you had an unsteady job and an unpaid mortgage, maybe even a family. would you spend money or have some money saved up for a rainy day?

We are not sitting and cowering, you dont just come to a conclusion over something this big in a day or two, especially when its such an enormous sum.

Its really not that simple, thats why there are democrats and republicans in the first place.
I dont quite understand your last few lines, but again, we are being productive, its just that not everyone sees everything the same way
i personally dont believe that the stimulus will work because in my opinion, i think that the stimulus plan was put together poorly and not to mention in a rush. But then again, i dont have a better idea.
