i find this diary very hard to believe. where would a seventh grade school girl think to write a diary on bbc, let alone one who is torn apart in a country of war.
Yes, I had that thought as well. I concluded that she must be from a fairly wealthy, somewhat Westernized family. Families like that are not uncommon in South Asia.
