Mr. Schock Goes to Washington

Earlier this month the Huffington Post named Aaron Schock "Hottest Freshman" in Congress. This 27 year old is the youngest member of the House of Representatives and is a rising star in the Republican party.

Elections come second nature to Schock as he ran for his first school board election when he was just 19. He wanted to graduate early but the Illinois school board president said no. So, he knocked on 13,000 doors and got 6,406 people to correctly write his name on the ballot to win the write-in seat. This reminds me of Mr. Smith. Except in Schock's case, he succeeded.

He is the only member of Congress to be born in the 1980s. I suppose more 80s babies will be making their way towards Washington soon. It's your move Jay Chen.
